For the second year in a row, the Tallmadge Historical Society has purchased Chrome Books for the 3rd Grade classes at Munroe School.  In years past the Society would give a scholarship to a graduating student who was going into a history related field.  Unfortunately, that was becoming fewer and fewer students until we had none.  So, the Society determined it to be better to purchase equipment for the entire 3rd grade class in leu of a single scholarship.  As of this date the Society has purchased over 25 Chrome Books for the 3rd Grade Classes at a cost of $5,500.00.
